Death Transitions

Communicating with your animal about their death helps the family to support the animal’s needs through the dying process and may offer helpful strategies to support the family’s process as well.

Hospice Support

Hospice communication is available so that you can know your animal's needs and there is little doubt about "is it time?" The process is designed to help you save money, time, and anxiety during this very stressful time.

Hospice support is arranged at the time you decide to provide hospice care for your animal friend. Up to three questions may be texted at any time. In this way you can check in on how the animal is doing through brief communications, daily if needed. Minutes are collected and billed as a total amount when the animal passes, saving you the expense of individual communications fees.

Please contact Judy for details or to sign up for this service.

AFTERCARE

Because animal communication is done spirit to spirit, connection with the animal’s spirit after death is possible. Ideally, the communication should take place at least two weeks after the animal has passed, especially if there was severe trauma or prolonged illness. Immediately after a death, both the animal and their people are adjusting to change and emotions are high and intense. This intensity can block clear communication, especially if death was sudden and unexpected.

If grief is overwhelming for you and your family, Judy can support your process with consultation, ceremony, and listening. When an animal dies, we miss not only their fur, scales, feathers, but also our connection to them—walking every day, cuddling every night, grooming and all the little things that formed a life together. To aid you in the transition, Judy can help you devise rituals/ceremony ‘habits’ to honor your grief and loss of the animal you loved so much.

AND BEYOND

As time passes, and you look to the future, communication can support you and your animal through reincarnation as well. Penelope Smith explains this concept well in her book, ANIMALS IN SPIRIT, and describes the process of support that is used. If you would like to consider this type of communication service for your beloved animal in spirit, read the book and contact Judy for questions and concerns. In the testimonial section of this website, there are many instances of animals returning to their people—some successful, some disappointing. Judy will provide guidance and support to you for this process, including developing readiness for the process.
